PCs don't alwaya make kids brighter.Middle school students are champion time wasters. And the personal computer may be the ultimate time-wasting machine.Put the two together at home, without any supervision, and logic tells you that you won,t get good grades from your children.
Little or no benefit is found from computers.Worse computers have separated children from education getting them addicted to gaming and social websites. It has had its fair side side of ups and downs depending upon how its being used.

Hi Mukeshkumar, not only the computer but every-things which are used by our kids can be harmful as well as helpful and therefore its the duty of the parents to make their kids learn the right side of the things, too much of anything is also very bad for everyone of us.
Ultimately its the grown up who are to be blamed if our kids are not behaving properly,b'coz its the way we upbringing our kids is what they are at presently and what they will be in the future as well.
There's no fault with our kids they are same all over the world they are the innocent souls, very very pure, innocent and only knows the language of LOVE only, therefore the whole onus lies with the we adults,we adults had to be very careful of our everyday daily movements, how do we talk, how do we react to every day problems and how do we behave,is the example that we are setting for our kids, and believe be they are following us or the parents.
Its a straight forward line,we the adults have to change our own attitude and everyday workout on daily basis.Happy mylotting

Hi, rocket,
I am agree with you in two points. First, we have to use tools in proper way, even that is extremely good stuff. In an other word, we human-being manipulate tools but not been controled by mechines. Second, parents play an extremely import role on cultivating the fine personality of their kids. What they did always mirror their parents behavior, and the well behaved parents can give their kids great personality.

I think it is better to make a password to your computer so that your children will be monitored whenever they used the idiot box. You should also look what they are doing whenever they are in front of computer. give them some time limit to stop their early addiction. You can see the history of your computer and tell them what they have done and what they have looked at the pc. Tell them what are the websites you don't want to be open.

The computer has its own pro's and con's, but I prefer to say, it's more a bane than boon. I have observed different people in different households - from teens to adults, wasting time playing games, taking from 2 to 10 hours or more, even on a school day or on a work day. They go into hibernation, not knowing what's going on around the world (but, knowing every new technique on gaining powers to subdue their opponents). Then, they start to miss chores because they could hardly wait to sit in front of the pc. I know a guy who seldom eats and grooms because of games. What a pity!
Man has invented a very good tool to help facilitate information exchange, perform processes efficiently, enhance the working environment and provide cheap entertainment. Alongside, man also created a very dangerous tool - one that can make people less human, like robots and without ambition.
