9/11 is being remembered by many people all over the world.
Americans will be remembering the day when the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were attacked in various ways.
Some will be holding prayer vigils and others may be doing other things less appropriate (It looks like the Quaran burning will not take place at present... One hopes no other fringe group decides to pick up where the fool of a minister in Florida left off as I really would rather not see such stupidity and lack of Christian principles demonstrated in my Country.)
Moslems will be celebrating Eid al-Fitr, the Islamic holiday that concludes the holy month of Ramadan. This holiday is a time of festivity as it concludes the fasting during the day that they have undergone as part of their observance of Ramadan.
Many Moslems have committed themselves to doing some charitable work on this day as they are sensitive to the wounds that this Nation has suffered and do not want to engage in too much celebrating on a day when many other Americans are in mourning.

That was a sad day for everyone. I was celebrating my mothers bithday on that day. I was celebrating it on 9-10-10 also and we said a special prayer for the ones that lost their lives and the families that have lost their loved ones.

I'll be working as usual, but I'll be remembering. I'm sure there will be a lot of talk about it on TV and in the newspapers and various places on the internet. It seems that this year, 9/11 seems more significant than it has for awhile, but I don't know why. I hope no one makes it a day to do anything stupid on either side.

I am hoping that you had a good day at work.
I am joining you in the hope that people will be smart and peacefully mark 9-11 with prayer and kindness rather than anything else.

9/11 actually happens to be the birthday of my aunt.
(Unfortunately, she passed away some time ago,
like 10 years ago or something).
So yeah, we'll be celebrating her birthday. That doesn't mean we will disregard the event that occured 9/11/01
