my cdrom crashed!

i have a hp compaq 510 laptop,3 months after buying it,now my cdrom has stopped working,is there any disk which can be used for cleaning disk or should i go for a replacement of my cdrom,i suppose my lens is really dirty!

As you mentioned that you purchased it before 3 months so it should be in warranty period. So it is better to get it replaced it with a new one rather than spending on any lens cleaner.
I myself have a Dell laptop for about a year and my dvd writer also stopped reading and writing discs about 6 months after I purchased it. I got it replaced it by a technician at my home and the new dvd writer is working fine as of now. You should opt for a replacement.
