And that's to listen to your favourite music while ironing your clothes. Well, let's go into some detail. I pick out my favourite songs and then play them on Window's Media Player. The songs that I listen will fasten my pace while ironing the clothes. It also acts as a way of counting the number of clothes you've ironed. I've tried it today and it works wonders! This will be good for those who have stress in ironing clothes.

Well, I'll just have to give it a try the next time I do my ironing. Anything to make this chore more enjoyable. Happy ironing!

LOL! I was forced to iron. I hate housework. That's why I used the power of music to boost my way through.

That's the spirit! There are many things in life that we are not happy doing but they have to be done. So, it's best to find a way to enjoy the unenjoyable and you have succeeded with ironing.

I found an even better way to reduce the stress created by ironing. I don´t do it anymore :-)
I used to get stressed by the huge heap of ironing that built up in a corner, and realised eventually that the things in the bottom of the pile hadn´t been worn for months. So I chucked those things out and just started wearing things which don´t need ironing. Hey presto! Less stress!

Woah~ Wearing things that don't need ironing but won't that make you not able to wear any nice clothes? O.O

Listening to music is my favorite way of relaxation and getting rid of the stresses of the day too. When I get back home from work, some times pretty late in the evening, I feel so tired and exhausted. I would then listen to music, especially classical music, very beautiful and enchanting. I keep a collection of CDs of classical music, Chopin, Johan Strauss, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and more, and also of foreign countries.

I don't iron our clothes that often to be honest. We got a Mr. Steamy ball and are going to see if it works, it's a knock off, so I am not sure if it would work, but then again Mr. Steamy himself may not. There are techniques to knock wrinkles out like getting clothes straight out of the dryer and hanging them up, then there's those steam vacs for curtains and clothes, and of course just a damp dish rag or rag.
Listening to music would be my choice of entertainment while ironing though.

Yea. To me, listening to music may boost my way through, especially when my mother tells me to do housework which I hate doing. That's why I chose music.

Unbeleivable, someone could be so engrossed in music. I have to keep a close watch on which CD's i choose now...
