NOD 32 or AVIRA?

ermmm...sorry..but mind i ask whether d microsoft securty essential is ok?

Both of these antivirus are good in past I used Nod32 on some of my PCs until version 4 and I'd said that it failed sometimes in detecting some Trojans - it was really really rare seen but it made me give up nod32 and turn to avira and I could say - it's gorgeous! I use it for two years and it detected maybe hundred Trojans, Spyware, Addware and never missed! It is almost as light as nod32 and updates as much as nod32 does. So my choice definitely is Avira!

NOD32 i prefer because it is more user friendly than avira. i gives more protection than it.

I use NOD32 in my work, and have little trouble with it. It detected viruses and stoped me from running them properly, and also blocked infected SPAM in Outlook. Althougt I don't expose it too much to dangerous pages while doing my job. In home, I used to use AVG free, and after some years decided to change it, because it let pass some viruses that made me reformat the system. Now I'm using Kaspersky antivirus and is doing a great job, so I recommend it to you. Never tried avira so I can't tell if it's good or bad.
