Why is it that all insurances are soo expensive nowadays.I find that we all pay for alot of insurance policy things. To get life insurance it will cost me tons of money per month, due to all my health problems,so i feel like i am being punished yet again for illnesses that are not my fault. So i have put money into a savings account,to ensure that there is enough money to get me buried, which is also a rip off.

You will have to wait until you get 50,as they have a 50 plus insurance that is really cheap, mind you i think the reason for this is that the amount that they have to pay out.I think that it ia a good thing that you have put money into a savings account ready for the future.

YEah, insurance are not cheap to come by, especially when one is getting older. As the insurance companies said, when one ages, alot of ailments tend to come along with it, and making them more vulnerable to sickness, hospitalisation etc. When that happens, insurance companies has got to pay for cover charges in hospital stays, surgery etc. IF one is paying very little, and yet claiming so much, all insurance companies would have gone bust.. haha =D Put it in a nice way, it's a kind of savings for us via the insurance companies, but when it's time for us to use the money, they will try all ways and means to avoid paying.. lol =D

Insurance can be crazy high for anyone much less anyone that is suffering from health problems. Insurance is a crazy scam that people are getting away with. There are people paying premiums for insurance that they will never use. Term is the best insurance option that I have ran across. There is also an option with some companies that if you pay premiums for a certain amount of time..then after a certain time period..you can get some of that money back. I think that it may be ok as far as being insured during a certain period and can also be considered a way to save moneyback...see what I mean? You could take it out after your time period and put it in an account or give it to the person responsible while not worrying that you will not be covered. I do understand that the price of any policy in your position is ridiculous.

In the whole I really don't think that the cost of life insurance is really all that high. However, I do think that you are right when you are talking about the cost of life insurance for those people that do have various medical conditions. For myself, I'm lucky that I haven't had to deal with any chronic medical conditions. However, that doesn't mean that I do qualify for the best rates for my insurance because of the fact that I am a big girl.

Most insurances are expensive. Most also do their best not to pay out when claims are made. We recently insured a new washing machine, only to find that the approved engineer made a mistake on the service, and caused damage. Nobody from that company would confirm that, and we would be breaking our T&C should we request an independent inspection. A new spelling for insurance 'STITCHED UP'. Sounds a lot like BANKING!

Life insurance are surely more expensive as compared to others. Especially if one is already in their best of health, very few insurance companies will want to take them. That's because if anything were to happen to the insurers, the insurance company will have to pay out alot of money, in terms of hospital coverage or to family members. It's also a kind of deterrent to anybody whom wishes to abuse the insurance, because of the huge payout when they die. Much as it's not your choice to be sick, but that's how the insurance company works, to protect themselves more than they protect us.

If you get really good insurance though, you won't regret it. When my brother passed away, my family was glad that we had the life insurance on him. Everyone in my family has life insurance, and we have it because we never know what could happen to us. Yes, we all have to shell out a little extra money to pay for it, but it comes in handy when it counts.

Have you looked into Term Life insurance? This life insurance is a bit cheaper than other forms, because you are only paying for the life insurance itself, rather than a savings vehicle that you can borrow from later. That is where the true rip off lies. They have you pay more to set aside so you can "borrow" it later if you need to. But how can you borrow your own money??? So yes, put money into a savings account and also look into a term life insurance policy. This way you have both things going for you.

Everything is expensive. I think back to when my grandparents were alive and how expensive things seemed to them. It was cheap compared to now days. Every thing costs. From the ground up. Gas for tranmitting things here, paying people, cost for the materials. All of it goes up and up. And yet companies are selling out because they aren't making enough money to stay alive. It never ends.

I was lucky I bought a policy before all my health issues came to light. Now it would be VERY expensive. The policy I had didn't do what I thought it would. I thought I would get a payout after I reached a certain age. I had my policy reviewed and got a different type. I can't get any additional insurance now, but as long as I don't go over the original amount I am okay. The policy I had before had a high cash value, and I wasn't able to get a lot of programs. Now I have a lower cash value and I can qualify for a lot more programs. I plan to be creamated and I don't have a family to worry about so I really don't need that much insurance anyway.

That's y insurance should be bought when we are young and when we are healthy. It is a good protection for us especially medical card. I heard that insurance company is profiting from life insurance but they are actually losing out on medical card due to the high cost of medication and low amount paid for medical card. As for now, maybe you will need to invest your money somewhere else and pray hard you wouldn't be burden by the high cost of medication.

Insurance along w/alot of other things is a rip-off. I was going to increase my life insurance awhile back if i could afford to. Didn't have to worry about that , had so much wrong w/me they wouldn't even take me.

Unless there's a rash of deaths, I'm not sure why life insurance is so high.

All kind of insurances cost so much money. Since I live alone, and I will not receive any pension when I am out of working age, I want to have some saving for the old days. I put some money into an investment (not much) but investment is kind of stuck now. I do not trust bank in my country, so putting some money in a bank is not an option. So I can only depend on the insurances.
