Hi everyone,
I have a tabby cat named Mango and everytime I cook dinner or my husband is cooking he is always right behind our feet then we end up stepping on him and feeling bad. He also begs for our while we are eating dinner. Is there anyway to stop this?

Hi!my cat does the same...And to stop her,I let her eat first before me.And it works. After she eats, she'll take a rest. By that, she can't disturb me while I'm eating..

Hi Kerri
My cat Jinx does the same thing especially when I make tuna salad
He doesn't do it when I cook other things just when I make tuna or cook fish
It doesn't really bother me because as soon as he realizes that he't not getting any he just leaves

I know this sounds mean but take a little spray bottle fill it with water and squirt him with it. Cats + Water don't mix. My cat use to get up on the counters and would come up and head butt us while we were eating so my husband got a spray bottle with water and after a few days of that she has stopped.
