All About Work...

My oh my ain't I lucky? However, I don't think it has something to do with luck. I've worked hard for it and I'm glad my perseverance finally paid off. My Bosses finally noticed my potential as a Leader.
To those who knew me here in Mylot and who have participated in some of my discussions I have shared before that I work as a Supervisor in our company for two years now. I love my work so much. I did a lot of initiatives and even went beyond expectations. Sometimes I even do the jobs I'm not supposed to do. I dream of being one of the Managers someday but I never thought it would be that early.
Two weeks ago my Assistant Manager talked to me about some changes in the workplace. After a week or Senior Manager also talked to me. He said something about them knowing I have potentials. I was clueless at first until my Assistant Manager talked to me again. This time he told me that the Management decided to give me a higher responsibility. He said that within this month I'd be promoted to be one of the Assistant Managers. I was so overwhelmed. I'm so happy with the news but I don' want to be hopeful. I'll just go with the flow and see what happens.
If within this month I would really be promoted that calls for a celebration. If not then maybe it's not yet time. Whatever happens life would move on as usual and I will always stay positive because I've learned that's the best way to cope with life's surprises and challenges. Have a nice day everyone!!!

Hiya LS,
Well if you do get promoted that would be a very big thing in your life for you. I did´nt want to get promoted as I was very happy as I was I already had too much work to take on any other.
However if you get promoted and you have less stress then I am glad for you. See if you are lucky then and they finally say yes to your promotion. Or have you already been promoted?

I'm not yet promoted but sooner I'll be. :) My Manager talked to me again yesterday and told me about the plans. It will happen this month or maybe 1st week of October. One thing that's bothering me though is that I might not live up with their expectations.
I also knew people like you who just enjoy doing their job but does not have any goal of getting promoted.

So okay it´s the first of October already it´s taken me this long to get back to you but I have not forgotten either. Sorry about the delay.
How is going for you then as you said in your last response that it was more or less this week that you would be promoted.
I am sure that you will live up to their expectations. Nothing happens overnight so give it time if you can be as bold and as confident as you can. I bet you can do it. No I never did have a real Goal of anything at the time except to enjoy my Job earn money and that was it.
Now it´s a bit different I am working on a few things they are silly things for everyone else but not for me.
Let´s see how you have gone then in this first Week of October. Hope it´s gone great for you.

Keep the spirit to work, friends. Hopefully you really promoted, and your dreams can be achieved. Hearing your story, you must have a very hard worker, and able to hold higher responsibilities. Keep the spirit and continue to do what's best for your life.

Thank you so much!!! I do hope the blessings will keep on coming. However, for me the greatest blessing I ever received this year is my newborn son. I am so glad he is now as healthy as he can be.
