Well yesterday me and my friends went for a walk. It is a tradition here around this time. Were we all go walking to Serreta, a town here from the island. We go with our friends. It is about a 3 and a half hour walk if you keep walking and dont stop, around 17 km i guess. But we left at 8pm and only got their at 5 in the morning. We would stop for a 1 hour break and stay their talking. It was 6 in the morning and we were almost going back walking but we stopped in a coffe shop and stayed there until 9am. Luckly our parents came to get us because our legs couldnt even move. But it was a great trip. Do any of you have traditions like this one?

I dont know it, but that also like this tradition. Of course the older people actually enter the church to pray while we sit outside complaining :)

nice exercise bro... its really important to have time for exercise, we can sweat out toxins and release stress from our work during exercise, we don't need to go to do gym, a simple long walk at the park may do, or hiking with friends is a great exercise, or even at home, dancing is also great exercise, don;t forget to tune our body guys, don't be so work addict... PEace!!!

tradition like you mean, maybe the same with Indonesian traditions that most do Indonesia people at the time of the feast of Idul Fitri (Lebaran). Relatives who visit your home miles from their place

well, not exactly a tradition but there are places here that do not have means of transportation, either because of the terrain, or probably because of the number of population very few public utility vehicles are passing by. People in places like this walk even more than 17 kilometers everyday to perform their daily duties such as finding food for the family.

....wow!..i can't believe you walk that long..what tradition is that? when i was young, i used to walk to school and from school back home...it was fun that time and I really miss doing that, although it would be best to walk in a road not too crowded with lot of buildings around..walking in an open fields or perhaps somewhere in a rural area with trees and farms is great than walking in a middle of an urban area..

Three hours and a half walk is very tiring. We don't have that kind of a tradition here in my country but I would like to walk by the seashore for an hour or two especially in Boracay where the view is really breathtaking. How I wish I can go back there again.
