It sounds like you need to talk to someone indeed, and a doctor can be a very good place to start. Depressions can get out of hand very easily, so it is better to deal with it now than later.

Well even i was same, but later i realised crying over problems is not going to make any change. Rather, i decided to fight against problems and now i feel great.

Going to see a doctor is your best bet to find out what is really going on with your mood.

hello sadie213!
one of the symptoms of depression is loss of appetite, changes in sleep patterns (or loss of sleep perhaps - insomnia),poor self-esteem, changes in energy level and psychotic reactions. depression may have come about due to biological, psychological or stressful reasons.
It would be better if you will see a doctor at this point, so you will know whether you're suffering from a temporary depression or clinical depression or before it would lead to major depression which would require extensive treatment.
It's good to know though that you yourself is thinking if you have depression or not. One good way to cure/treatment is recognition of one's own symptoms and failings. On the other hand, it is also good that you are starting to express yourself. There are times that amidst our loneliness and sadness, all we need is someone to listen to us sincerely, someone who would lend emphatic ears to all our woes and worries. If it is okey with you, you could start by telling us what's troubling you. maybe then, you don't have to go to the doctor after all, why not give it a try sadie? i hope you would feel better then.

sadie, hon did this just start or has it been going on for a long time. Are there any new issues in your life that perhaps are causing you too feel so low and cause you to cry so frequently.
You will need to be a bit more specific as a doctor will also probe the same way. There is depression and there is momentary depression.
Perhaps give us a bit more information and we can help. Talking to people and expressing your feelings allow you to get things off your chest and cope better with situations.
I do hope you feel better be well.
