There are lots of configuration and processors available in the market. Which processor is good and value for money. I am looking for a computer to play some games, browsing, and to do some work. Which one is good? Do you think graphics cards are necessary for playing games?

i don't very well for CPU details and specs...
But, it does really make me feel very out- of -date if, we are just using most of our software... AT Windows seven and we really are most of all keeping up-to-date As Word-Press Developers and Learning the Dos and The Dont's... But we are a very considering all ourselves with our Brothers as very Minute to Developer(s) industry and List of Millions of Milliions of "FreeLance/Providers/Contractors and/or consultants..."
for the Fact that what I have assessed so far for the Figures of the Configs Datas you've given, yours is the Hell of Top of the Line... No one have owned so far as I've just known among our neighbors having the Stuff...
But, if The Latest NFS "Need for Speed" Series, you can't be overtakin on such races... for the NFS tradition competetions have in store online and/or journey/career/history tko take...
Hope you can read all this One hell of a Comment---

If a sniper shoots you onLine, You can See the Bullet the whole time you are playing, but, hope I cannot seem so rude, that there is no enemy you can found worth playing and at the same time, you cannot find a player that LIke's to play with you...

I myself use a Dell laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 @ 2.1 Ghz with 4 GB RAM. It is a year old and currently have windows 7 ultimate installed in it. It works smoothly and doesn't lag even in the intense applications like photoshop etc. But gaming is not at its best. If you are serious about gaming and will be playing intense and high definition games then you should but a computer with a good graphic card to get best out of games. I am myself thinking about buying a graphic card for my laptop.

Best Performance + Value for money... well I think you cant have both at the same time. The best performance can be have from the high end configuration, or you'll have to compromise on some of the features.
But if you just need a computer for regular works like simple browsing and gaming , then I think you dont need to go for very hi-fi configurations as the lower configuration will also do the job.
So according to me , for your need following configuration is sufficient as well as it will be in your budget too.
Processor- Core 2 Duo about 2.93 GHz
RAM- 2 GB DDR-II or III
HARD DISK- 320 GB or 500 GB
Graphics Card- 512 MB
(Yes graphics Card is necessary if you want to play games on your computer. Because without it, you wont be able to enjoy any game as the graphics will be poor.)
This configuration will cost you $560 (including all the other parts of PC) which I think is a budget price for a pc.
