vworker

vWorker was originally RentaCoder. So, it has quite a history already before the name change. Since vWorker is actually a marketplace for buyers and providers of services, getting paid is really just a matter of finding jobs/projects and making delivery. Although I have an account with RentaCoder, I haven't really tried finding projects there. But I know of somebody who got some programming jobs there. And he got paid for them. Nowadays, oDesk is getting more attention from service providers because of their platform which allows for easy management of projects. Personally, I would prefer working at oDesk, but then again, vWorker and oDesk have different clients so they will yield different types of opportunities.
