Be sure to check out their specs and reviews of the phone especially those on phonerarena.com and Youtube. What the Galaxy S lineup lacks for me is an actual flash for their camera so you'd have to say goodbye to taking party pictures or any pictures of people at night.

I have the samsung omnia 2 and I really like it. I had done a lot of research on it before I bought it to make sure it had on it what I would need and might wqant, and it does have everything on it, and to me it is the best one, but then I have never used other samsung phones either. I want to get the samsun omnia 3 when it comes out next year, and I hope that had all that I could need or want as well. I just got my phone in march of this year, so I can't really upgrade yet. I do however, upgrade once a year or if I would ever find a phone that I really like, I would keep it much longer than I normall do. Take care, and have a very good day.

The Samsung Omnia II used to be a premium phone but I really have to say that it is nothing compared to the Galaxy S family today... One good reason would be the speed of the phones and the lack of lags or hangs. The Samsung Galaxy S I9000's 1GHz Hummingbird processor and the Touchwiz UI helps a lot with that. Plus... Omnia II's original OS is Windows Mobile 6.1 which really sucks bad. I've had to live with Win Mo 6.1 for over a year and I have hated it so much that I am now almost giving my phone away to my 7-year-old sister to play with.

In the current lineup, the best Samsung model has to be the Samsung Galaxy.
But the Galaxy S is supposedly even better though yet unreleased here in India; so, I cannot comment on it.
Do take a look at the Samsung Wave II. It is probably the best multimedia phone out there and comes at an awesome price!
