Nailpolish!

Hi MyLotters!
I really like wearing nailpolish, it makes my hands and feet look nicer and adds an extra touch of colour to my outfits. My favourite colours are reds (so feminine and ladylike!), purples and blues, usually dark.
I tend to use darker colours on autumn/winter and slightly lighter shades during spring and summer (especially blue, since it looks so refreshing and nice to look at when the weather is all warm), it just feels right to me, for some reason.
What about you? Do you like painting your nails? Which colours are your favourites? Any brands of naipolish that you recommend? Feel free to share!

I love blue polish too. I love my nails long...very long. I love OPI brand polish, although it takes forever to dry. I love the colors that look like candy or that look wet all the time, like purple and pink. I hate the florescent colors. They look cheap and juvenile.

OPI? I haven't heard of that brand, I'll have to check it out :)
I'm not really fond of fluorescent colours either... if anything, they look better on people with dark skin, since the contrast is stronger, but I prefer other colours in general. And then again, I'm quite pale so it would look horrible on me anyway, haha.

Do that. OPI is fabulous and has very seasonally appropriate colors. Where I live, I see young (high school aged) kids wearing the fluorescent colors. And don't feel bad...I am extremely pale myself!!! LOL

I had a look at OPI's website the other day and wow, they have really pretty colours indeed! Next time I'm out shopping for make-up and such I'll make sure to check if they have that brand at the store.

Hi there Cargoleta!
When I was in college, I also like wearing nail polish. Now, it depends upon my mood. Even though it is more convenient when I wear my nails short and just clean, there are times when I feel like painting them, usually with bold colors. Most of the time, I have black nail polish applied to them.

Black nail polish looks really cool in my opinion, but I usually prefer it with a slightly metallic tint rather than just plain black... but that's just me :)
