what's wrong with mylot????

hi cyatibarra, Have you checked if you are still logged-in whenever you send your discussion? Or once you press the post discussion can you still see that you are logged-in? In my experience, if I happen to make discussion that took me a bit longer than the usual, it will lead me to mylot homepage. Meaning, my entire post will be gone even if I press "back" from my browser. I know it is weird, LOL! So what I do is, I have it copied on my notepad before sending but when I reached 500 posts I am able to copy the words I have written in here whenever it got lost.

Have you tried posting from several browsers? Supposed that you posted from Internet Exploere, try to post from Mozilla Firefox or Opera. If it does not work, then try to post from another computer. If from there you can post, it means there is something wrong with your computer. Try to scan your PC using the atest antivirus or anti-spyware available. For your information, I've got no problem posting until now.

Well it can be your browser which is acting up and causing an issue.Try resetting your browser.Delete your temp files on the computer and the cookies and then check if it is working.If it is not maybe there was an issue with the server at the time you tries to post responses.Try again after 24 hours.If you still have an issue then try mailing in to the admin and see if they can help.See if the same happens on different browsers or if it is a particular brower on your computer.

Hi, Sometimes, it happened to me when I have wrote a comments for other mylotters discussion and I cicked Submit, the page will gone and always prompt, the Internet page can not be displayed. I was so flare up and then I try to refresh the screen,then I have to retype again. I learnt from this lesson,so everytime after I finish typing my comments, I make sure I copy it and in case, it happened again,then I just need to refresh the page and paste my comments back. It works after doing for the second time. You try using Internet explorer or Mozilla firefox to login to MyLot and see how it goes. If it did happened for certain period of time,then you may try to use other computer at your friend's house and see it will happen the same or not.

It sounds as if you have had some problems with your internet, I certainly haven't had any problem and it looks as if you're OK now. I do hope that you are sorted now and able to get more involved! So welcome to myLot and good luck on here!

I did have the same problem too. It's mylot that has problem while not our computer or internet connection. I did try with other sites and they are normal, except for mylot. It takes me about 3-4 refreshes before i'm back at mylot, but by then, my comments would be gone. IF i'm lucky, my comment would go through, but i will be seeing a blank page. What's worse is that, anyone with 500 posts and less, are not able to copy and paste. So if possible, i will try to cut short my responds, in case i have to retype everything.

Good day to you Cyatibarra, There are times, the signal of the internet really fluctuates. However, to avoid going all over again to the topic that you have wrote, maybe, you can do the typing first on your notepad. Then, after you have completed it, you can start copying the sentence one by one. It is really hard to do that especially if the topic you have wrote is too long. But rest assured that it wont be lost whenever the signal of the net fluctuates again. Happy Mylotting.
