Do you think that green thumbs are the only ones who can really grow plants? I like plants, they grow with me but they dont bear flowers! How come? Also, i tried planting carrots in our garden, and it never sprouted. I love flowers and plants but i cant seem to be successful with them? Can one grow plants even though they are not green thumbed?

i've also heard that girls are better at growing flowers though i don't believe in this. not all girls are good at gardening and there are some men who are good at it. so, it doesn't really rely on whether you have a "green thumb" (or whether you are male or female). i think it depends on your knowledge and also on what you are growing, as some flowers or plants are really hard to grow so you need to exert an extra effort. if you know what to do and you work hard on it, i'm sure you'll also have what it takes to be a great gardener. good luck!

If your plants grow but don't bloom that means they lack something. Enough light, enough food or even to much water would be my main guesses. If you have a county agent in your area you can call them or they may even come to you home to help you.
Knoweldge is the best green thumb in the world.

I certainly don't have a green thumb. I do well with some sorts of plants though and love to fill my house with them! I do okay with a garden, but nothing exceptional! lol! So I think you can grow stuff without the proverbial "green thumb" just find what does work for you. Actually it may not be your thumb anyway, it can be how the adjust or fail to adjust to the home environment!
