is it really hard to learn nihonggo?

Japanese really isn't that difficult as long as you actually want to learn it (you need motivation). It's certainly a simpler language than English LOL. The only way to REALLY learn Japanese is to go to Japan though and be immersed in the language; the only reason I know as much Japanese as I do is because of the 6 months I spent there as an exchange student. You can only get so far by studying out of a textbook.

I don't think Japanese language is that difficult, atleast the basics to get around. Of course, one might not get the pronunciation and accent properly. That would take some time, and will need living in the proper environment for some time. Japanese words sound quite enchanting.

haha If you love it, it's no problem. I learn japanese language for 3 years. It's really fun, I love it. You can improve your japanese with several of material such as manga, anime, songs, movie etc. :)
