i bruise easy. so easy that my legs just get bruised by my big dogs tail hitting it or god knows what else because half the time i have no idea why they are there etc.. but its always bad on my legs and i was wondering if there is a way to get them to fade faster?? i want to apply for a few modeling jobs i can do but i look like an abused wife right now and im sure no photographer would wanna spend hours getting them out via photoshop!!
are their any remedies? i know having fibromyalgia you bruise easy and so i have ruled out other health probs but its getting ridiculous to where i couldnt wear shorts all summer!

I hope there is a remedy, moon. I'm just like you, probably because of the fibromyalgia.
I kid you not, it looks like the doctors in the operating room were using me as a soccer ball! I have bruises all over the place that I know I did not have before going into the hospital.
One of them begins at my right wrist and ends about two-thirds of the way to my elbow! It's massive! Also, there's another huge bruise almost opposite that one, on the outside of my wrist, about 3 inches long. And, I'm positive I didn't have any needles there, no IV's, nothing that should have caused a bruises this bad.
Of course, there's the one I kinda figured I'd have, on my neck around the incision. The incision is about two inches long so you can imagine the size of the bruising. Also, the inevitable bruising with each IV needle they put in me (about 5 in all).
It's ridiculous. All this bruising for no apparent reason. So, I sure hope there's a "fix" that at least hurries up the healing process of bruises.
I would think that something like hot compresses might help, since that should help to disburse the pooled blood under the skin but I couldn't say for sure. I'm going to keep an eye on this discussion closely.

Hey moonlit! I have always bruised very easily! I am like a
banana! I don't know anyway to get them to heal faster. There
are products (makeup) to disguise/cover them. You just have
to find your closest skin color. Dermablend is a good one.
It's made by Flori Roberts, sold in Macys, Lord & Taylor,
Bloomingdales-but is expensive. I buy the cheaper stuff in
CVS which is made by NYC and costs $1.99. It is a stick erase
and it covers bruises and dark circles under the eye which
is what it's really for and it works pretty well on the circles
it you get the right shade for your compextion.

i used to work in a health spa and i banged my ankle quite badly while working, one of the ladies in the aromatherapy department put lavender oil on it,and i didn't bruise as badly as i normally would, but apparently you have to put the oil on as soon as you bang it otherwise it won't work
