Have you ever hidden money?

well i have hidden money under my bed. my favorite cd case and such.

Yes, I have, but I didn't know why at the time. I was divorced at one point after that and had a stash of cash to fall back on. Other than that, I've only "hidden" money in my checking account so it has a chance to pile up. I just write "hide" on the entry line and the amount, and deduct it from the total. Since I mostly pay attention to the total, it's not too hard to fool myself. :)

We hid some money in a caravan once whilst we were travelling. Once we were home we forgot to retrieve the cash. We only remembered once we had a guest that we didn´t know very well staying in the caravan. We did not want to alert her that there may be a large sum of cash in her caravan incase she was dishonest and found it herself, but we searched and searched and couldn´t find it. We lied about what we were looking about and had to virtually take the caravan apart before finally it turned up. We really thought we had lost it.
