Illegal Immigration has been the topic of many conversations on many discussion boards, diners, grocery stores, bars, etc.
It seems there are a lot of people out there who WANT them in our counrty... even illegaly, because they are real people with real stories and we should have pity on them because of their hardships.
I am not an uncompassionate person - but when it comes to the laws of our country, they are emotionless. They are laws. Sometimes people have very valid reasons for breakiing the law, but it doesnt take away what they did.
I say, send the illegal immigrants (from any country, I'm not Mexican specific) back to where they came from and let them start the proper process.
I'm tired of America taking on the rest of the world's problems because we'd be mean if we said so. The United States of America has lost it's backbone folks... and all you have to do is watch the news or read the paper to see what it's effects are on the rest of us.

Illegal immigration is so bad here in the states, and it is only getting worse. Our country really does need better border patrol and better borders, and we need to deport the people who are criminals.

And you do realize that would be all 12million of them right? They broke the law as soon as they came into the country, I don't think we should wait until they murder someone before we send them home.
Their defense (and others) to them being here is "they take the jobs the Americans don't want. They keep the cost of our produce down by harvesting it for less"... the last time I checked EVERYTHING's price was increasing... not just things illegals don't do for us.
There are HOW many people without jobs at the moment... let's give our folks a chance at them before our unemployment rate reaches 20%

I am not saying everyone, but the ones who murder people, the ones who steal, the ones who commit major crimes.
There are a lot of people without jobs at the moment, and yes, that is because illegal immigrants are taking the jobs, and that is because of outsourcing. Americans don't have jobs because of illegal immigrants and because of outsourcing.

I agree that anybody that wants to live in a different country should go by the proper process. If it means immigration, and they qualify, then by all means. If they want to star a new life they should go about it the right way. What kind of fresh start is it if they came in illegally? America should regain its backbone and stop granting amnesties to illegal immigrants. This would send the message that if aliens came in illegally, they will never have peace of mind. And that they could be deported anytime, if they get caught.
