Stephen King fans - Did you hear about "The Dark Tower?

There will be movies and a TV series made from Mr. King's Dark Tower books. Ron Howard will produce the first movie and the series that will air between the first and second movie, then his co-worker will do the second and third movies and the TV shows that will show between them. This is gonna be good.

Maybe I will get to see The Dark Tower before I get around to reading it. I have had the first three volumes since they came out. My thinking was that I would wait until the others were finished and then read them in one go but for one reason or another it did not happen I must get stuck into them before the movie. People say it is one of Kings greatest works.

I did mamage to read the complete series. It tends to be very entertaining and very involved. It'll be interesting to see how it translate to the big screen. There will have to be a tremendous amount of special effects, so I'm hoping it's handled well. Thanks for responding.

Yes it should be interesting especially if they plan a movie and a television series of it. I wonder how that will work out.

Yes, I really am looking forward for all this, I did read all Dark Tower books this summer, didn't like the ending though. I only hope they make EITHER one (movie or series) actually good. You know how most movies nowadays turn out to be pretty bad...
