Differences between poor and rich in third world specially in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan really shock me. In this region some people are struggling to live on. They cannot take proper food three times a day. On the other side some are riding on luxurious cars, like Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Ford, Pazaro and living on magnificent houses, traveling world wide. If you walk on the city road this differences will be cleared easily. Dear myLot members please express your opinion and suggest how to remove this social diseases from developing countries.

Yes you are right. The difference between the poor and the rich is very wide and glaring in these countries. I hail from India where we weep at the poor and hate the rich mainly because of the vulgar display of riches. These countries are over populated and the resources are not consummarate with the growth of population.Further the elders in these countries always preach peace with the result the people have grown lethargetic. If you read the history of european countries you will find there were revolutions in the past to rectify such glaring disparities for instance French Revolution. As you closely study the history of these countries you can notice that revolutions to rectify the difference between the rich and poor did not take place. The only alternative now available is population control and industrial development.

Difference between Poor and rich is really miserable incident in developing countries. Yes You are right. I am fully agree with you. We need revolution to change this differences between poor and rich. May, we will see or not this revolution. But it will come soon. This scene is very pathetic. I have visited south Korea. This country already achieved more. If you walk on the road you will not understand who is poor and who is rich because everybody are in good health. Everybody do work. Nobody is unemployed. On the other hand if you walk on the street of Dhaka or Calcutta you will see some are pushing curt, pulling rickshaw, van or lorry neglecting rain or sunlight. Their face are covered with anxiety, poverty, clothes are dirty on the other hand some are riding on ac car with bright face. This kind of scenery really shock me. Forget about Europe and America. At least our government should follow and exercise the policy of neighboring developing countries like Korea, to remove differences between poor and rich.

There are a lot of differences between the rich and the poor and a lot of differences between rich people, especially the ones that are rich cuz they strived and the ones that're only born rich. Specifically, those that strived had something in common with the poor and that is desire for money.

In my opinion, there is not much difference between the poor and the rich people. The only difference they have is that the rich have a lot of resources compared to those poor people but none the less, talking about religion, we all have the same destination which is to reach heaven and that means that we are not required to bring the fortunes we have on earth.

It is easily said than done. There is a phrase which is apt for this discussion "Those who have less in life should have more in law". This social difference is a perennial phenomenon which cannot be easily solved. The concerned authorities therefore should provide equal protection whether it involves the rich or poor, because most of the time, the rich gets away with it, you know what i mean. Ü

What is really the problem in todays world that the rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer are corruption and greed. Corruption in the government in which people are paying high taxes and what they paid for don't return to them but to those leaders who wants to get much richer. If a project has 100% budget then maybe only 40% of that will go to the people and to the project and so it will be a low cost project which is not sturdy enough to stay for long. Imagine 60% of it will go to the officials. After 10 years, the project will be destroyed because of poor foundation and the government will ones again borrow money from another rich countries to build that again. The debts are getting high and the people are sufferings. That is a big reality for some of the countries in the world. If only, all leaders are honest enough and not too greedy. Some who are rich, are not contented with what they had, they want more and more and so some have non. This not just but it is reality. If corruption will be eradicated then people's lives will be much better for whatever they are paying to the government will also return to them. It will make their lives much easier than what they are experiencing right now.

You are right because I am from India and I have seen this difference between the rich and the poor from the day I was born. The problem with these countries is that the rich are extremely rich and the poor and extremely poor. There is only a small middle class. There are lots of people in India who struggle and they don't even know if they have enough money for tomorrow to have food. It is very sad.

The only way to do that is to remove the GREED from human souls, but it has been there for years and no matter how hard spiritual teachers tried to change things for better, people keep going the same path.Especially in developing countries, the gap between rich and poor is huge.I believe that enormous poverty makes some individuals feel superior. They buy luxuries to show that they have some imaginary power.Indeed, they have no power, the money has power over them. The greed and insecurity has power over them.I think both rich and poor need to grow mentally and spiritually, so that one day the differences will disappear.

the main obstacle of the development of a country is the width between rich and the poor people... I think in countries like India,Bangladesh and Pakistan ,the main reason of poverty is this thing only.... these countries having enough resources to compete with the other developed countries... but they are not caring about that.....
Here in these countries the richer people will be very rich and the poor people will be very poor.... here the difference is very big.... here what happening is the richer is getting more rich and the poor is getting more poor always.... this must change to get some changes with their positions in the world......

I think the problem will never be resolved. The rich are getting richer by the day. The poor will always be the one who work hard but get less in return. The only way to make life equal is to remove all the levels and also the meaning of money and richness. However, if everybody receives equal amount of food and other supply etc, then nobody would be working hard.... therefore, equality among rich and poor will never be acheive

rich people are rich in material things, have many friends who are in their same level, but when you need them, some are very hard to come.
poor are poor in material things, but rich in friends and neighbors who are always there to help each other and comfort each other.
there are only few of the rich who got to have poor friends, but can not get them up because some poor just don't want to be rich, because they are scared to be rich.... because they are less educated... they are happy and content to their day to day way of life with their family.
