I have been to Baguio many times and i can say that it is really such a good place, free from pollution and you have the peace of mind. I love the different tourist spots there as well as the foods they serve, mostly green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Baguio is a good vacation place...

Before I went to Baguio my mother told me not to wear a shorts because it was so cold there just like winter. But when I went there last June 1997 it was not that so cold as it was just like a high cool of air conditioned as I can still tolerate it. So I've change my pant into shorts. I enjoyed hanging out there that I was accompanied by the balikbayan people.

Have been to Baguio, it is so different now...I'm quite disappointed because it is overpopulated. I love the old Baguio wherein you can have a good vacation.

I don't visit La Trinidad that often. There's really not that many places to go to in La Trinidad, so I was in Baguio City most of the time.
I love Baguio city. I'm grew up in Manila but I lived in Baguio for about 6 years. I chose to work there because Metro Baguio is so small compared to Metro Manila. You can get to work in 15 minutes. And I LOOOOOVVVVVEEEE the taxi drivers there. They are the most honest cabbies I have ever encountered. The weather also made me want to live there. Although the rains in Baguio are meaner and stronger than those in the lowlands, the cool climate is still worth it. I loved that I didn't have to iron my shirts there. I always wear a jacket anyway. haha! The pace of life is slow there compared to Manila. That "chillax" attitude makes people happpier because they are less stressed everyday. And also, I love eating at my favorite restaurants there. They're cheap and delicious. If you're ever there, try dining at 50's Diner, Good Taste, Jack's, Star Cafe and Tea House. I miss my friends there. I try to visit every now and then, if my schedule and budget permits it. I so miss living there.

I basically grew up in La Trinidad & Baguio. Now that my family is based in Manila, what I missed the most is the food, the weather & just the simple way of life.
In Baguio, your P100 can buy a bulk of veggies & fruits already. You don't need to spend much on electricity since you don't have an air conditioner. You have cheap but quality educational & hospital institutions in Baguio. I have a kindergarten, and I'm spending twice as much in his tuition fees here in Manila. I have my hats off to the taxi drivers because they will give you your change to the last centavo.
You can go to the tourist spots in one day. Although, I personally like the strawberry fields in La Trinidad.
The downside is, it is already populated. The air is not as pure as it was before. They have problems in garbage & water specially in the summer season.
Still, I have good memories of my childhood and teenage years in Baguio.

I really like Baguio in the past not like now that is now commercialized. But I really like to go to Sagada because this place hasn't been completely change and still remind you of true nature.
