actually yes internet is full of such viruses but actually they dont format you hdd but corrupt the data. Maximum virus came from trusted sites and not the suspicious sites. So better to update your windows regularly and use free av such as avasp (It is really helpful) if you ever had got any virus than i would suggest you to delete you partition and create it again by this way your computer will be fully free of virus Quick format never removes virus.

No way.. virus need a base or platform, if dos base.. boot virus can do it. but in one second is not possible. , how should it can be work?? , first virus need platform.. it will be make partition for self and then it can be format your hardisk one by by means partition to partition.. now days this kind of virus is not present still, might in future lounch.!??? still enjoy dear.
