Natural gas pipeline

I was just reading about the gas explosion it was said that the 30 inch pipes were put in in 1948 I and were very likely to fail. They aren't sure what caused it to happen but, The remains of a least four people have been found, and they have said four are missing and at least 60 were injured, two people who were missing were found today. I think they should have replaced the pipes a long time about. But I guess they were doing what was in there best interest to keep there costs down. How many people do you think are going to sue for the cost of there home being blown up? I know I would if I lived.
