having child out of wedlock

i would not want to say anything bad about this, people are free to do, decide and have to stand by their decisions. When things go wrong about a relationship and the couple bore a child out of wedlock, i would only want to say that they should stand by it, bear the child, give it a name and let the poor child grow up to be what he is destined to become. parent's mistakes should not be passed on as a burden to the kids, after all they did not asked to be born...

Oh There are many cases here in the Philippines that sometimes teenagers were involved. Because of early pregnancies, still the parents support their children and try to help the minors to have a better life in the future. And some who are old enough got some relationships with a married man that is why when the get involved in SIX and get pregnant, the child becomes illegitimate. It is not the child's fault but their parents, if they have thought of the consequences prior to what they are doing, this kind of situation can be avoided.

acey76, Out of interest, just what and where did you get your stats in the first place? I believe that people today are still avoiding having children out of wedlock or becoming single parents with no valid reason(s) And since this is a discussion and discussion site, I wonder if you have anything to contribute as far as your stance is concern. I am sorry but I just find your post to be interrogative without any contribution from you. Besides, this is not a survey and I suppose you have something concrete to say - so speak up. You right, my friend. It is because of our uncontrollable desire with six. If we are not being rush into a relationship those things will be preventable. But it is really hard to control ourselves sometimes in that case...but need more faith in God, the best to make our life smooth I think. Some child born out of wedlock, is due to some male, did not have a good standing about marriage. They are not gentlemen enough to face responsibilities... It's not bad, to have a child out of wedlock because it is not our sin to be bound in that events in our life. It maybe a destiny or it maybe our mistake to choose the wrong guy or the wrong lady in our life have a great day!

it is better for the child/children to have both parents in their life wheather they are married or not but the most important thing is that they are loved and cared for. I am not religious however my husband is catholic so we got married before having our children. I dont see a difference though as i know many unmarried couples with children and many who had children and got divorced.

coming from he girls side, it is very important to us to be married to the father of our children, however if you both think that you are not compatible, then why suffer, your child will also suffer if you will marry just because the girl is pregnant and later on will file a divorce/annulment.
