How does snot get on the top of your nose when you blow it into a tissue?

I just can not figure it out, but it happens every time. Can you explain this phenomenon to me?

ha, ha what an odd question to ask, i love it! i do the same thing, no matter what i do it ends up on my nose, i hate having the cold because i cant blow my nose infront of anyone, i always have to go to the bathroom or face away and then check myself in a mirror to make sure i am not snot faced!!!

It has to do with the rubbing technique we utilize after each rub we do.
Also the type of tissue we probably are using maybe perhaps not absorbent enough.

well... umm.. anything I suggest is a complete guess but, I believe that you may move the tissue up after you actually blow your nose and it comes off the tissue onto your nose. Sometimes I do that to but don't seem to have the same problem as you. Maybe it's nose blowing technique. Not sure but, I tried.
