Do you wash the dishes afer have a meal at home with your family ?

well in our family it doesnt matter whether you are girl or boy as long as it is your duty to wash the dishes you have to do it...because our mom give us schedule regarding household chores to do inside the house.

I feel very fortunate and blessed my dear. As my boyfriend who lives with me is very self sufficient. I suppose having lived on his own for sometime he has learned to do things for himself. Not only does wash the dishes after our meal most times, he cooks, does his own laundry and washes floors. Yes I will all the things as well, but he gets up on his own will does them as well. So I am happy and Blessed for someone like him that knows that in life one must learn all household chores if not poor dears will live in slop. LOL

Hi, I don't think washing plates after meal has to be Woman's job. It can be done by both man and woman. It is pretty simple task and everyone can do it,unless a small kid/baby. Of course, for my family, I am doing the washing part after meals, with the help of my husband sometimes. Or when I fall sick,then my husband will take over this washing job.

in my country it`s been a tradition that man and woman has their own duty specified by the law of people tradition, for example man should find a good job and earn to support their family needs including their wife cloth,meals and accessories and for women should do some or all the house work including washing the cloth,cooking,and parenting the baby and kids, is it fair? fair or not that is the traditions, and future more any hard job should be done by man and an easy even longer times needed will commonly should be done by woman in the family. ok, a I know you all have your own country tradition to follow, me i don`t wash my plate after meals it should be done either by my wife or my housemaid, thanks

It does not really matter who washes the dishes in our home. What's important is that every after meal, all the dishes should be cleaned. In our home, we take turns. We are 5 siblings, so everyday one of my siblings will do the dishes. It is a cycle. ;)

yes,i will. i'm unmarried,but when i was home,it's me and my sister that was ask for this work. i accept that housework work is the duty ,and both of us should do for our family.

I'm the human dishwasher in my house. It has it's benefits, washing dishes under hot water in winter.

the situation same in my house too, women wash dishes after having meal. But i live alone and i have to wash my dishes my self so at my place i wash my dishes myself. but there are families in which both couples are working, so they don't have much time for their other needs so they get dish washers. i think dishwashers don't make the plates shine as humans do.

It really doesn't matter who will wash the dishes be it's a girl or a guy as long as after every meal the dishes are wash and clean. As for our household, I am usually the one doing it since my husband is dog tired after working 8 hours in the office. I don't complain since I know that I am the one in charge of running the household and my husband is the one in charge of bringing money and food in the family.
