The Other Mosque At "Ground Zero".

How many realize that before the thugs who claimed to be Muslims attacked the twin towers that there was a mosque at what is now called "ground zero". There was a Muslim prayer room on the seventeenth floor of tower number two. If the towers are restored or another memorial is built should this prayer room be restored in memorial to the American Muslims who lost their lives in the cowardly attack by thugs on the WTC.

Why not? after all Mosque represents a religion and not the thugs in that religion. I come from a Country that also has burnt down Mosques in order to build Hindu temples and Hindu temples being burnt down...but when it comes down to true religion..I am always happy to see Muslims greeting Hindus on their festivals and viceversa...

Very funny, Chiang! By the way, did you also know that are two existing mosques (or so some say) not far from ground zero? I just wish the Muslims, after the incidents of 911/2001, would build their facility elsewhere.

Really what does it matter, you can't talk reason with these people who are angry. They don't want to hear facts they are acting purely on emotions and like little kids throwing a fit.

If the towers were going to be restored, they should be restored as they were, yes. But, as far as I know, there's no plan to rebuild them. I do believe that the hatred and the fear mongering needs to stop.

Sorry to say this, you've got to verify your data first, or the worst, you need to have your head checked. Don't you see many hidden facts about the incident on WTC, that actually more than 2000 Jews was rescued only a day before attack? Don't you see that all Arabics and Middle-Eastern fellows that were suspected as terrorist were never exist? US say that was terrorist from Middle Eastern killed in WTC, BUT the fact: people they suspected were still alive!
Don't spread hatred here. You don't have any business in religion stuff, since you always say you don't need to believe in God. Don't prejudice and judge Muslim like that. If you want to know the real Muslim, visit Indonesia right now then you will understand how Muslim in my country can behave very tolerant and love peace very much. Understand?
