Have You Even Done a Mill Hill Bead Kit? Christmas Projects.

I just finished one, it was a Jim Shore Snowman called Southern Snowman. It took me quite a bit of time to finish it. It had some cross stitching and a lot of beading to add onto it. I am very proud to have finished it as I was doing it for my Mother's birthday. Its the first one of a series of gifts I am trying to finish for birthdays and Christmas and it is actually done on time too! Which is unusual for me, usually I finished them late. Have you started your Christmas projects yet? If so what are you doing? I tried to post the pic of the finished project but for the last little bit I haven't been able to post pics with discussions.

I am a crafter too and I love to cross stitch! I love fairies and my favorites are from Mirabilia Designs and they also have mill hill beads. But it's been, I think, almost 2 years since I stopped cross stitching. I still have one project that needs finishing. Job made it difficult for me to spare some time finishing my cross stitch projects. There are so many designs that I still wanted to make.
Good for you that you finished the project in time. It's nice to give gifts that we personally made - labor of love, is what my mom used to say to me.
