I usually give rate to the discussions I respond to and the comment from people who respond to my discussion. I read that it may rise the earning of the people we rate (Please correct me if I'm wrong). But I never give (-) rate to anyone and I haven't chosen the best answer for the discussion I started (I'm still waiting if there's another responder). Do you usually rate to the discussions on Mylot? Or do you usually give a mark to the best responses? Why yes and why not?

Yes I do use the rating system a.k.a DRS. I rate if I think that's important to rate. I often give + rate, and seldom give - one. The - rate will be given if the discussion is too redundant and not clear, for example, the topic only contain "Help me," or "I don't know what to do" lines. DRS! Use it when you need it!

We rate in different way. I rate (+) when I think the responses or comments are useful to me, and I never give rate (-) to anyone because I think it's for the ones who abuse. Is it okay for me to give rate in that way? What about the best responses mark?

I think as long as it is useful to you, and also to Mylot community you may give + rate. Just a little bit different about - rate, but again, I think that's okay. You must give - rate if you feel you are being abused. For redundant discussion I think we should, to take care of quality. But, never give - rate only because you don't like the post. It is also stated in the guidelines.

I also use the rating system. Until now i don't give (-) rating to anyone. But i will do that if it necessary! Hey Ramaditya, do you please tell me about the best responses mark? I don't found anything like that.

Yes, I read that users with good rating earn more than the others. I usually don't give rate but, especially in the last days, I'm giving some. When I read a good answer or a comment from which I can learn something I usually give a good rate. From now I have give only 2 or 3 negative rate, I usually don't like to make people rate decrease but some stupid comments have to be punished. About the best response I have never give it because I always made discussions and they are always opened. If I'll make a question which required a solution I'll choose a best response.

i do not normally rate posters or responses i get from my discussion.. and sometimes i do not rate those i see in the replies part of one discussion i do not own. but if the response is really great, i really would have considered it.. i think in the last couple of years and months, i also spent time reading all the posts i see and rate them if i find them really good, or otherwise.

Yes, I am always giving rate, for a discussion which I responded to. I also give rate of responses on the discussion that I created. I also always give a + sign, for an appropriate response to my desire and really helped me. But if it does not comply with my wishes, I am not giving rate, I also do not give a sign - I'll let it go, without giving any rate,

I don't do this all the time.., But if a certain comment really caught my attention or I had felt the same way with what the person was saying on his comments.. i'll definitely rate it as the best answer but if.., It was just a good point.., I'll mark it as a positive one.. I never gave a negative rate..=)
