I graduated from High School five years ago, and I sometimes miss that time in my life big time!I miss my school, my classmates and my teachers. Although high school was not entirely perfect, what remains in me are the good memories I shared with the people I value the most to this day.
I also miss the Prom, Intramurals (Sports Fest), and the fried banana sold in front of our school. haha
How about you? What do you miss about high school?

I miss alot of things about high school I graduated in 2009 and all I wanted was to get out of there and never look back because I just hated alot of people. The truth is though that I miss it a lot, doing the same thing everyday, and seeing the same people, the things I used to hate the most about it I now miss. Even not seeing the cooler kids who hardly talk to you. I miss not seeing my friends who all went to different far away colleges and even the friends who didn't who I still only see maybe once a month. I just miss not having to get a job and everything like that.

I felt the same way as you BrittneeD. I hated school. It was a miracle I made it through my seior year. I hated most the people in my school but now its like even though I didnt like many of them its not like I never want to see them again and really most of them I never will see again its sad. I was just thinking as I was dropping my daughter off at her school how for the majority of my school years I hated gym class. I never started liking gym until probably 10th grade. I miss running around playing those sports like field hockey etc. It got some of my energy out.

what do i miss in high school were the crushes and teen romance i had experienced,
well,i am not that beautiful enough to be attracted by guys.but i have crushes who i admired and i almost wanted to love.but he never liked me at all.but it's okay.
i still have friends who i became close at least, but i feel sad that those close friends i have that time i don't have contact nowadays. it has been ten years ago since i graduated high school. and i can say high school has lots of memories, dances with crushes in dance activities in some class.and also in some programs we have in school.the terror teachers which made us terrified and embarrassed. the kind teachers we really learned a lot from.
the classmates which can be sometimes naughty with others. the food trip we had everytime we go out the school campus. the bonding moments of friends when we do stay at each other's houses. we even cook together at the house of a friend. and stayed there overnight, sometimes sleep lesser than usual. the prom night for me was not that enjoyable cause i only dance with friends,no one dared to dance with me,haha
it's nice to be in high school, cause we have less responsibilities not like if we get older, like what we have today.

haha, yeah,we all have bunch of crushes when we are still in high school, but not all guys that we like can like us in return. and some guys take advantage because they know we liked them.well,it had helped me i some reasons.to be inspired or to believe in the idea that not all things we want,we can achieve easily.we have to strive and struggle hard to reach what we want to achieve in life. all things haapening in our lives can bring lessons to us.we just have to be open minded.

I can totally relate. I had a bunch of crushes in high school too! And I still admire them to this day. It's indeed sad to find out that the guys we like don't like us back, but being hurt is always a part of liking/loving someone. I hope that you were able to gain something from liking them - like being inspired and motivated to be the best that you can be. ^^ Those were the things I learned from nourishing an unrequited love. haha Thanks for your response Annavi!

Ah, high school memories... I graduated from there ten years ago. Well, I miss a lot of things.
I absolutely miss my teachers, even the one called "Mr. Killer" He taught us hard, but not without reason. He wanted us to reach the best under pressure. I often spoke to him if I re-visited my high school.
I also miss my canteen. I usually spent most of my time there, talking with friends or the sexy maid (indeed she was very sexy). I often did my homework there, too!
And, I miss my classmates also, especially the one that sat together with me. Her name is Neneng (Sundanese, translated into Maid). She is a good mate, and one of my best friends.

To missing school days in each. But as for me and I guess most peaople were carefree days.Do not think that at the end of each month must be paid accounts have no problems at work and so on.The only care is to learn and nothing more.Parents give you money every day with friends is fun.Runnin hours go with the coffee company

Hi Nicajoice...I also had a great high school experience. I found long-lasting friendship when I was in high school. I guess what I missed the most are the companionship and the simple happy moments when we were still teenagers. Until now I am still close with my high school friends though most of us are miles/continents away now. It is the togetherness and the pure clean fun we had that I missed the most. I think we simply can't get enough because year after year since we graduated from High School we really make it a point that we can have our "get-together" and it doesn't necessarily have to be grandiose. We keep it simple and inexpensive yet truly memorable and heartwarming. Thinking of my high school days always put a smile in my face. Yeah, it felt great to think of those good ol' happy days.

Hi emgee! It's good to know that you still find the time to meet. ^^ it's great to meet up with high school friends once in a while to see how you've grown and how you remain the same good persons through the years. I wish I get to meet my high school friends too. some of them I haven't seen for five years.. :( Thanks for sharing your insight! :)

It has been many , many happy years since I graduated . I didn't enjoy most of my years in school save my junior year. The two things I miss are playing in orchestra and the parties but I was shyer back then. If I went back as a full Sarah , I would be in trouble.

I was always so nervous about going to proms and stuff but I do miss not having a reason to dress up in beautiful dresses anymore. What I miss most about high school is not the learning. I never paid attention anyway. I miss the people I went to school with. I even miss the people that I didnt like just because I knew them for so long and never see them anymore. I miss my very closest friends like my friend Debra. I havent seen her in around 4 years. I miss her so much sometimes :(

I miss playing baseball. I played baseball almost every day when I was a kid, and I loved it, so naturally, I played baseball in high school. I would love to be able to go back to school and play sports again.

I miss the lack of responsibility. Since I left high school and started at university, I have noticed a huge change with what's expected of me, and I find it a little overwhelming at times.
I know that a lot of my other friends are in exactly the same position, as we were all used to having everything done for us, especially at college, whereas at University we're expected to use initiative. It's not too bad once you're used to it.

That's right. In high school, we are not pressured too much. But, as years progress, responsibilities are greater. If you feel overwhelmed at this time, wait until you finish college. hehe. Thanks for your response! ^^ Good luck!

I was in the swing choir and we practiced every day and performed all over the state. I really miss singing and dancing all the time and being with the close knit group that we were. I would just love to sing with a piano again (I don't play myself), I also competed in singing and performed in musicals and such I really miss doing all of that.

Hi Good topics and good memories. Everyone after completing their studies have to leave the High School but the memories never leave one it is always with the people who had been to school or high school or colleges. My sweet memories are of my good friends and my lovable teachers who taught me and cried at the farewell functions. Still I miss them all in my age of fouties. Even my children sometimes remove the knot of their memories while we have discussions. It is very happy hear all the happenings which happened in their schooldays. Have a nice day.

Not a lot! School is supposed to be one of the best times in one’s life but, in my case school especially high school was a traumatic and insecure experience. I came to Australia at age 10 from Italy unable to speak English. I was placed in a normal school and left to sink or swim which did some damage to my already little self-confidence so by the time I reached the insecure teenage years and started high school I was a mass of issues even though I had at least mastered the language. I see my daughter at school now and she is having the time of her life and for that I am so very grateful!

I miss the sports and activities. I also miss the care free attitude that we all had before we had to grow up and pay bills and have a lot of responsibilities. Oh well, time to grow up. I like being able to stay out past curfew, so I guess some things are worth growing up for.
