Hi,
I can fully understand your situation as my son is going through
terrible 2 stage and I managed to handle it well and now my son
is on stage 3. He is getting more understandable on things and can
be more independent.
Every kids may have different character and of course, you need
different method to handle them.
Like for my son, when he reached his terrible 2 , he is more demanding and
need alot of my attention. So I always try to spend more times with him.
Play and teach him flashcards, listen to nursery rhymes, watch Barney
vcds, doing some craftworks and even have nap together.
As long as I am giving him enough attention and never ignored him, then it is
fine and he is behaving well.
Of course, there is also time when he will get crancky and I have to
really pay attention to explain to him that he is not doing something
right and he should get himself change. At first, he may not catch what I mean,
so I will repeat to remind him and slowly he got my meaning and he is
really follow my instruction.
Whenever I was busy in kitchen and left him alone in living room, I will make
a peek and make sure he is doing well there and also called up his Name, just to
let him feel secure that I was there for him.
Try to be patience to handle your son and never use hard method like beating. It is not the right method to train your child.

My brother is two, and he's just adorable! sure, sometimes it can be tough to convince him to let go of something, but all you need to do is distract him and take it away as he is distracted.
Also, unlike any of my family, he is very neat! he always put his toys back into place! always! and he speaks too... I just adore him... 2 is an awesome and a cute age in my opinion.

Wow a 2 year old that puts his toys back thats amazing. I have a 10 year old that has yet to learn that. I always thought that 2 was a piece of cake its every year after thats a problem. The older they get the more ways they learn to tell you NO. LOL.
