What are your study habits?

I am one of those last minute review person so usually I do pretty good but sometimes due to this bad study habit of mine I don't do very well on cumulative tests. I know it's bad but please don't recommend me what I should do because I just want to know your study habits. Simply just tell me what your study habits are but don't use the word "you." I'm not asking for help here but rather curious of how others study habits are.

I'm no longer in school, but when I was, my habits were pretty bad. I was one of those last minute people. Unless it was something I was really bad at or was worried I'd have trouble passing. Then, I might start studying an entire week before the test. I never studied just for the sake of studying. And, I was always one of the people with my books open up to the second the teacher said to close all books.

The scholarship really changed the way I study. If it wasn't for the scholarship I would probably still be like when you were at school.

I used to a cronic slacker and left everything to the last minute. Now I am more organized and able to better get my work done.I make sure that my work area is clean and has a good light source to read and get assignments done.I sometimes listen to soothing music to help me study better like classical , i find it helps get my brain fired up and I am able to concertrate better when i am hearing somthing calm and relaxing.I find complete silence is not good all the time as i need someting to listen to while studying.

I like listening to music. When I study I put on some songs that is in a different language or a weird genre so I wouldn't think about the meaning of the song because I get distracted with the lyrics most of the time.

When I was still a student I always have my drink like coffee or iced tea when I am reviewing. Sometimes at home I am lying on my bed when I am reading although other people said that it is not good because I might not remember anything I've read. If ever the Mall of Asia was already built at least I could stay in any of the coffee shop so that I could study.

Caffeine is always good for studying but not too much because bad things can arise from that. Caffeine stimulates our reaction time so that can't be bad. Thats good.

I used to be like that but I realized slacking might cost my tuition fees that are paid for by my parents good thing that now I got scholarship and I don't have to deal with that because I am now forced to do good in school. Slacking would be a bad option for me.

I study as the class goes to be honest with you. There might be a little review right before the exam, but really, by taking notes on a day to day basis, it really cuts down on the time and also gets a much better grade. If I need a refresher, than I have the notes in a nice condensed format, ready for use and ready to get what I need to get done, completed.
Of course, at one time, I just mindlessly studied the old fashion way. If I could, I spread it out over multiple days, but there were a lot of teachers, especially prior to high school who were like, "by the way, we have a test tomorrow." That frustrated me to no end to say the least. Still I liked to break things down and just take it bit by bit at a time if I was allowed that luxury.
