Hello Mastermindskt,
With reference to your query, I remember those days when I have had received an awards. I remember one of them is, when I got and won a gold medal, when I had joined the slogan contest. Another thing is when I won a cash prize (I can't remember how much is the amount) when I had joined the declamation | oratorical contest.

i used to be very active in school from primary to secondary even when i was already in college. My mom always encourage me to join contests. Singing is my passion so most of the time i get recognition for this. Academic wise i did get receive awards in math which one of my favorite subject and oral declamation contest. it is really nice to reminisce sometimes.

In high school I earned an award for high honors.Anyone that has a average of all of their courses over 85 percent.I tried hard to get this award and this can be a great thing to show a potential employer.Also in a course in business we played a stock market game and the group that did the best and earned the most moeny in a semastar got 50 dollars.The money was directly from the teacher and he wanted to get us all interested in the stock market.

I got lots of them. Begining form 1st standard to 8th standard, i got the best handwriting award for English, kannada & hindi. I got the distinctions till 4th standard. I have awards in cricket, football, hockey in 7th , 8th, 9th & 10th standards. long jump in 5th, 6th 7th & 10th. 4x100mts relay from 5th standard to the 15th(graduation), In football from 8th till the 12th. Jevelin in 8th....the list goes on. I have certificates over a 120. Apart from school i have also got awards in church sports and at various events at our town. But when it came to acting, debates, singing & stage performances...the percenteage is less than 5. because i used to be very nervous to act on stage.
