What are you in school for?

I am in college for Elementary education. If you are in college or university, what is your major? What do you hope to do for a living once you graduate, and what is your favorite class right now? This is my first class but I am looking forward to taking Biology. I remember loving Biology in high school and I think I am really going to enjoy it. I have a Bachelor's degree in Theatre already, and my favorite class then was Stage Makeup. I look forward to hearing what your responses are!

I'm currently taking courses so I will be qualified for higher education, and I want to study game programming or something in related to computers in general. But now I'm reading a lot of science related courses like physics, chemistry and match which is really fun in my opinion! :)

Thanks, Vantri, I'm a good student so I know if I focus I can pull it off. It's just not one of my favorite subjects so it's a little bit daunting to me. Luckily I don't have to take it for quite a while.

I did terribly in physics in high school. I have to take it in college and I am so not looking forward to it, i'm very scared!

I majored in Biology cause I planned to be a doctor but I wasnt able to pursue that dream. When I realized that there's nothing in it for me by having that major, I decided to take certificate of teaching so I can take the licensure examination for teachers and I passed. So I am a teacher by profession now.

Yay, another teacher! What grade do you teach and how do you like the profession? I visited an IBS school yesterday and I loved it. I hope to teach there when I get my degree.

I took up Advanced Diploma in Computer studies and my major is multimedia and internet. This is the two years course of IT. Almost all of my programming subjects are my favorite except in java and C programming.

I am taking up BS in Information Technology. I want to take up all majors it offers like Computer Networks, Multimedia and Software Engineering. I hope to be able to go to Japan in the future to be able to study robotics and make a personal robot of my own. Of course while studying, I wish to be able to work too so that I can help my family financially. This is where I want to be able to get my funds in order to make a robot too.
My favorite class? Hmm...I like computer programming best because it challenges me to solve some practical problems aside from Digital Circuits. It's like game of puzzle to me because if I think it difficult it would turn out to be tedious.
In the future, once I am finished with studying, I wish to be able to put up a business: a combination of a Coffee bar and an Internet Cafe as well as practice my profession as an IT. So far, all I can think now are these. I wish to travel all over the world with my family but I'll put it in the side first and think about it for a while. Because there is a possibility that we can travel around the world sooner than we expected. LOL

Good luck with IT, I wanted to do that! I took 4 classes and changed my major to elementary education. I love computers and I think anyone who can do this is awesome, but I just didn't like all the programming and stuff like that. Good for you!

Right now im in the office administration program at NBCC in saint JOHN NB. Im finding it a really interesting course and hope to land a nice job after completing it.It sure beats working in a min wage position which i'm doing on the side on weekends to help pay for college.Im trying hard and hoping to improve my study habits in order to have an easier time learning the material taught.
