Having my husband back for even one day has been amazing already. One really great perk...I don't have to do all the driving anymore! You don't realize how much you take for granted having someone who can drive to the store for you if your feeling sick, or go pick up something at the store when you dont feel like it, until it's gone. He drove the whole way home from the airport yesterday. I was the typical backseat (or passenger seat) driver! I'm not used to having someone else in the driver seat, but I'm def taking advantage while he's here. Today alone he's already gone to the px, the laundry mat, and the gas station lol all while I got to sit home on my butt with the baby's. Life is good!

I bet it was a relief having him back home and him going to do some of the things you've had to do over the past couple of months. Just like I bet he's happy to do them as he's not been able to in some few months. Hope you're spending time with him too, don't worry so much about mylot!

I use to drive, but now i can not.Thankfully my husband drives, aswell as a few friends and relations. My husband do all the driving for me,but i must say i do miss being independant,as now i have to ask for a lift to places, rather than just getting in the car and driving there myself.

My husband and I are both almost blind, so no one does the driving. He used to drive before he lost his eyesight, and I was almost blind all my life, so I never drove. We live by a bus stop, so it's pretty even, when someone needs something. We are both about capable of the same travel, so it works out nicely.

Hi. soldierswifee. I am glad that you got a break here! It does feel good when someone else drives us around to take care of things that we can't do ourselves. Last week, my husband had to go to an appointment for me. I could not go. Our son was just getting over the stomach Flu. So, I stayed home with him. I let my husband go in my place instead. I was so happy that he was able to attend the appointment for me. It really helps us wives out, when our hubbies step in to assist us when we need them the most! I hope that you are feeling much better now. Take care!
