Sick of Viruses and computer's slowing?

Slow computer is a great annoying to Internet surfer. Specially who wants to earn money from online, it is more important for him/her. I think this is a great topic to discuss. Sometimes I also face this computer running slow problem. So, if any of you are computer specialist please suggest how can we make computer faster? myLot users can help each others to remove this slow computer problem.

A computer slows down over time. You have to clean it (like remove dust from the fans) and, if you're afraid of viruses, think about getting a piece of anti-virus software. If it's too late and just anti-virus itself can't help, get a clean install of your operating system.

Yea, I'm getting sick of the laptop I'm using right now. I've had it for six years now. It's a tad slow, but once I went on my friend's computer and it was probably 1000 times faster than my laptop. However, I did buy a new computer and it's soo fast. I hope it never slows down or else I'll have to down another $1000 for a decent computer that will last a few years
