Hi! I have been playing for a few years now. I'm not an expert but you're right about finding else what to play. I've had that dilemma too. Well we are quite familiar with our own country's song and though we like them very much we tend to get tired of playing them. I was challenged one time when I heard a very good music from my student's ringback tone, he was from Korea and of course I'm not familiar with there songs. So I research about that song and well.. It was a good song to play. Try it out! You may find it interesting too.

I really want to learn a song on the piano. I dont know how to read sheet music and I never had a piano lesson but I'll try learn a song, it probably wouldn't be that hard for me cause I play other instruments like guitar, drums, etc, and then upload it to youtube and then post a link in your discussion.

Yes, that will be great to see it. In case of reading sheets. I know how to do it but I read it so slow that never can play along in the proper bpm (tempo). I usualy tend to learn songs by ear too but when it cames too difficult it is best to have the sheets. Unfortunately the money is question when I try to find some. Lastly watching someone playing it on piano (when the 720p / 1080p in youtube really help to see which keys are pressed) can help too when I got no other option.

Hi loktibrad, I love piano music so I made my two daughters study piano. The younger one became very good and she is practicing for her second recital now. If her tight academic would allow her to practice her Grieg, she would be ready for a concerto recital by April next year.
Keep playing. Music is the language of the angels.
