Why human love is insufficient to give us the security and siginificance we need

Recently i asked myself why human love is still insufficient maybe one reason is that man's life is fleeting.People grow old and die, and love eventually comes to an end. Another reason is that in personal relationships, we know that people are sinful, fickle and unfaithful. Even if we have the security and the best of human love for me it isn't enough. I found the greatest security and sufficient love in the internal love of the eternal God. How about you can you say that human love is enough to give you security and significance you need?

I believe that God is love and as a result, having love or being in love moves us closer to God. Loving a human being gives me the security and significance in my personal space or in my emotional well being. But if one is to have security in one's spirituality, one needs to love God or one's higher power. I believe that it goes hand in hand. The love we share for others and the love of God. When we love another, we treat the other according to the laws of the love we have for them just as we respect gods law through our love of God. Its like the ying and yang. One does not exist without the other in my opinion.

Hi ptower76, thank you for sharing your opinion. Yes, the ying and yang, i remember the first time i heard these words "ying and yang" from the person whom i love much.
