I went to the Mall with some of my girlfriends and we went on a little shopping spree. We went to a place called Body Central which is one of my favorite stores. I saw these cute black club shoes that i wanted but when i looked at the price my mouth dropped!! I couldnt believe the price i literaly rubbed my eyes and looked at the price again. I was saying to myself maybe i can come back and buy it when i get enough money but i had no idea when that would be. I hoping the shoes would still be in stock when the next time i come back.

Yes, of course…many times in fact. Every time I go shopping, I usually carry a list and money according to that and everytime I come across something which I would like to possess but don’t have the money. Just two days back a girl in our office came wearing a cool leather shoe…its so beautiful and soft and has class written all over it AND it was very expensive…well it seems her uncle’s come down from somewhere and he took her shopping…*sign* wish I too had uncles like that

Oh yes, several times. Sometimes I wonder why the ones I like and most wanted are beyond my reach or should I say beyond my wallet?
Just to not feeling disappointed, I would buy something else, small and very cheap things like earrings and bracelet accessories.

I am exactly the same way. I see something extremley gorgeous and then i look at the price and your face expressions change and then thats when i look for jewlery or accessories because i know they are cheaper.

I've had that experience many many times. I don't have credit card and I often don't have cash to spend for shopping, . Seriously I only have money when it is payroll time cause I gave part of my salary to my mother. I have lots of things that I wanted to buy but I can't afford it even if its 50% off. I love bags and shoes but I really don't buy expensive one, just enough to fit my budget.

Same with me, I love bags and shoes but not the ones that are so expensive. I just wait until they go on sale or something or buy something better and for a cheaper price. I love clearances and sales they are my favorite. I get so excited!

If not being able to purchase something hurts you dearly I would suggest to keep away from the shopping malls at least for a bit as it can be very painful.
Get the name brand of the shoes and write it down some where, you can go online and find them later. So it may be an excuse to go back to the store and try on a pair so you what size fits comfy. Online later maybe way cheaper.
Good luck to you honey, I keep away from any form of window shopping as it depresses me.

Thats very ture. Kids can be really expensive especially when they get older. They would want you to buy alot of things for them but when they get old enough to get a job they can pay for there own things and that will give you a break.

yes, of course, many times actually ! When ever I go shopping or do it online, I always see something that too expensive for a poor student like me. I force myself not to think about it but I just can't help it. I try to save money too, but then I will see something new that would change my mind. oh, what should I do lol

Hi Handy
Its not easy saving money its a challenge something always seems to come up whenever I start to save money it never fails but I still keep trying I do pretty good I guess because I do save enough to do some of the things I want to do and get a few of the things I want within reason so its better than nothing at all

Hi,
Sometimes when I was out for shopping, I do see things that I like, when
look at the price, I decided not to buy it.too pricey and not worthy to
spend so much money on those things,of course, the quality and the style
is so good, but for me, I am not those branded good person,so I just buy those
moderate price and as long as it looks nice and feel comfortable with it,then
it is fine for me.
For your situation...you have to work harder, then when you have enough money ,then you buy the shoes that you like.
But firstly think carefully before making any purchase, does you really need
that shoes?

Thats very good to hear and that makes alot of sense. I deffenitley agree on what you are saying. If its too pricey then i will not buy it. I dont think the shoes were worth being broke. So im deciding to save my money until i have a good amount to buy whatever i want. The shoes were kute, but im not going to loose my sleep if i dont have them right away.

Yeah, it happened to me several times. I usually I tend to forget these things after a while though. But if you don't, it might be a sign you really should get them. So if they are still there when you can afford them and you are thinking about them until then, get them by all means!

I have wanted a lot of things in life but there is one thing which I have been asking my husband to get for me since we got married but he has been refusing till now. I have been wanting to buy a treadmill which I can use at home because I dont have time to spend in the gym with my daughter now. I know if I saved for about six months I can afford a normal one but my husband is totally against it. Says it is a total waste of money and that amount can be used for something else. Well, I do sigh every time I think about it.

Gee Devijay
That doesn't seem fair but if your husband is the bread winner or the making the most money I guess I can understand that but also if you work you should be able to buy yourself something you want to have and a treadmill although expensive some of them can be bought second hand or without all the upgrades and that can save money and you can always try and elyptical machine (I don't think I spelled that right) but you know what I mean
I have one of those and they are less expensive then treadmills and the work the body pretty good with very low impact.

to much on something is a bad thing. sometimes if you love or want something, you got to let it go. cause maybe god has a plan for you. maybe it is not the time for you to get or have it, or maybe you get a better or best that will come to you in the future. i hope you get much better or best in the future. chin up!!!

Thats an interesting way of looking at it K114 but it doesn't lesson the effect when I want to buy it right then and there but I still get your point and your right something better is probably on the way and may be even cheaper than what I wanted originally

Yes I'm really craving to buy an apple notebook or a macbook because it's what we are using in school and i like its features too. Unfortunately it's too expensive, I am shy to ask for it to my parents. Maybe it's not really for me or God will give it to me at the right time.

Its really for you Iamdee if you save up for it and you should even try asking your parents if its for school that makes it more understandable in why you would want and need it maybe you should give it a shot and ask your parents but I do understand where your coming from technology is so expensive now a days it sends some people who are tech fanatics right to the poor house I bet That is unless they make a lot of money then it wouldn't really matter the cost

I have been like this over furniture lately. Mine is falling apart. my couch and chair are hand me downs from my inlaws, and survived my husband and his friends all through grade school and high school. It is a cute country theme, in the blues with pink accents, the only problem is that the rest of my house is modern. I have been putting a little aside here and there, but it will probably be another year before I can get new stuff.

It always happen to me! I hate it very much. Whenever I get back with enough cash, either the stocks ran out or my size is no longer available. Well, they say that you don't get what you shouldn't. And that you always deserve something better. I just think of that all the time so I wouldn't feel so bad.

I deffenitly understand what your talking about. I always get so afraid that if i dont have the money now to pay for it and i try to come back later it may be out of stock or not in my size. Thats the main thing why i get so angry that good things cost so much. I think its good to know that you deserve something better.

Hiya cherry,
Sort of know how you feel there. I have seen something I like and just have to keep finding ways to be able to get it.
However that can take a long time sometimes can´t it. So never mind you might just be able to get them when you least expect it.

I myself want to buy a new mobile but don't have enough money for that. Though the money required for it is not that much but I am running short of money from some time now. But I don't actually feel pain when I am not able to buy something. Rather I plan how I can get it or how I can save enough money for it.

I tend to want to buy things most people don't want to pay the price for. But I usually only get it when I have income coming it. If I went right now and found something I felt I had to have I wouldn't get it because I have no income. But if I had a job and could almost afford it I definately would get it.

I completly understand where you are coming from. Its important not to buy something when you know you have no incom. I think the best thing to do is find a good job with satisfying pay and save your money when you feel the need to buy something that is important.
