What is friendship?

The characteristics you've said should be the real essence of friendship. Nowadays people are not like that anymore and only limited of people are on with that essence of friendship how I hope I could find someone. I find a real girlfriend but a friend, not at all.

friendship means understanding each other ,respecting sentiments ,caring and moral boosting each other ,share and help each other in happiness and adversities,thanks for sharing.

Your definition of friendship isn't too bad. When a special friendship is seen in action, it is an amazing thing to observe. I might suggest another quality that should be added to your list - forgiveness. No matter how close two people are, they will eventually hurt one another. That is part of life and we must totally forgive and move on. At that critical point in the relationship, each must decide that the friendship is more important than their individual feelings and hurt.

I think friendship is a best gift from god to you.. because friend is the only person who always prepare help you anytime.. and when nobody can help you then only friends help you.. so i always giving respect to my friend.. and my friends are important for me..

friendship is about giving and I think its greater than love and it last longer than it teaches you a lot of thing in life...People always search a true love but they never gives important to friendship rather friendship is the relation that doesn't need search it just happens...then you realize that you find a person which you can share your feelings and emotion your good and bad moments they are all there to support you they all restrain u only if you are wrong to yourself if never want anything and gives it all of its whatever they can..friendship is relation that you make yourself without any pressure without thinking it just entangled you with the right person and most suitable that u doesn't know itself...But always try to give everything to your friend without any hesitation..Don't take is a casual relation remember good friendship start with only your true devotion to your friend

For me friendship is an in-depth relationship that needs to have trust, faith and loyalty. You have to be honest with your friends so that it will grow and build a strong relationship. I have a friend since I was a kid and even if we don't see each other that often we still remain friends because of the trust and faith that we have for each other.

I think friendship is one of the great relationship between people. I have some best friend, and one of them is girl. I have very close relationship with this girl, we know more than 5 years, we share many things, help each other a lot, but now, I don't know what is wrong for me, I think our relationship has some thing more than normal, I don't know becasue we are so close or because we happen deeper relationship. So, friendship is the best one, if from friendship become the lover, it is the best best one. This is just my thingking.
