Exodus 15:3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.
Rom 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
Which is which?

The two verses you have cited are correct, but I cannot see any contradict. You know why? First, let God's character be known unto you, remeber he is the God Almighty, he can do anything he want, in fact, in Deut 32:39 it says "See now I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand" It is clear that God kill and make alive, he wound and heal. So, in Exodus 15:3 it's right that the Lord is a warrior, and also a peacemaker, in Romans 5:1 it says "therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"

You did not got the point my friend. Yes of course, he is God of peace, and he is man of war. No doubt of it, that is written, believe it. See in your onwself, sometimes you are in peace, and sometimes you are in trouble too, but it doesn't mean yourself is contradicting, right? Same with God. No conflict with that.

No, i dont think that there are any verses in the bible that contradicts each other. Instead it supports them. Though maybe sometimes there are some that seems to contradict like the verse that says hate your parents to love God (paraphrased) and to love one another (paraphrased) I forgot which verse. This phrases may seem to contradict but it talks about different things. There are so many mysteries in the bible that are hard to understand but you have to catch it in the spirit to understand it. We must have a revelation from God because it is God who wrote it in the first place.

Whenever I read the bible I asked for guidance to make me understand what I am reading. Reading it without proper guidance could make you think of a lot of contradictions, and that is only because you will have a different interpretation. I don't read the bible before and it didn't interest me at all until I joined Victory Christian Fellowship. Right now I read and I am slowly understanding what is written there and I've found myself not getting bored but in fact happy when reading it. I am learning a lot of things and it served as my guide in my daily living.

Bible is one of the best book that was ever wrote in the History of Mankind. It tells us all about the creation and where we all started. Sometimes it may even be contradictory to what scientist are have. The Bible is a collection of 72 books and each has a different authors in which some are prophets. It may appear to have many contradictions because each author has different views and also the Bible is made up of 2 major (Old and New Testament). The Old Testament is written before the birth of Christ while the New Testament was written after the Birth of Christ. People long ago, for instance; BC times they have different beliefs. But, New Testament is where Jesus Christ was born and His teachings are all written by the Prophets like Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and also by some of His Disciples.
Even, with all the contradictions; I still believe that in the whole, the Bible is teaching the people the proper ways and also It tells us that God always Loves us no matter what race we are because we are all His Sons since the time of creation. It tells us to Love God above all things and to believe in Him; to forgive others who sinned against us as He forgives our sins.

Same answer to your first question. The Lord is pitiful and of tender mercy to whom? to his people who is doing his will, but to his adversary, God has no mercy but destroy them in the last judgement. To understand the Bible, you must consider the words, to where or to whom it belongs or referring to.

The bible is a collection of books written by a group of different authors. Each author wrote from their own point of view and with their own separate agenda. To read and understand the bible you need to have a knowledge of who wrote the book, what they were trying to accomplish and who they were writing to.

As I understand, I believe that the main author of the Bible is God himself, as a matter of fact, in Exodus 32:16 it says "The tablets were the work of God; the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets"(NIV). It is very clear that writing was the writing of God. It was just he sent or used the prophets or the apostles as an instrument to transmit his words to the people. Even in Hebrews 1:1-2 it says "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe"(NIV).

That's very true, here in the Philippines there are many sect of religions and some of them accused some religions too that they have contradicting beliefs that when you read it on the bible it's not what it really meant.
