Experiencing severe ear pain, don't know the cause, what to do?

Yesterday I felt slight ear pain and it was like this from the past two days, so what I did was I put some oil in my ear and just slept yesterday. Ever since i did that, I have been experiencing severe ear pain, I don't know why. I just wanted to reduce the slight pain i was feeling. But now, it has become terrible and I also feel as if all the nerves from ear to head are being squeezed, am able to tolerate the pain, but it is making me feel that I have that pain and not able to concentrate on anything. My sister says it might be that I have something in my teeth which is causing this pain, but I don't feel any pain in my teeth, how is ear pain related to teeth? do you have any suggestions for me friends? I am not able to go out now as it is raining heavily here...

Hello there, I am not sure what is causing you the pain. When i was small, i was taken to my village and Mom said me that one particular guy is going to take out my teeth worm by putting some oil in my ears. Of course i was small to understand what they actually doing and teeth worms don't even exist, LOL. The ears were related to the teeth for some reason. They said we can't see the worm once it is out. Now, i wish i had asked my Mom what were they actually trying to do to me by putting some oil in my ears. After they put the oil, i was made to lie down and take rest. They said the worm would come out on it's own. Wow, nice way to fool children. Don't know what they were up to but the ear pain that you are having might be related to your teeth for some reason. Well, you better go visit a doctor.

You know what, am so scared to go to a doctor. because he asks me to do many tests and says that everything is perfectly alright. It just happened the same way last time. I had ear pain once, got every test done, but the result is that everything is fine. moreover, it is raining heavily here voldrox.

It might just some sort of weakness? Because the whether is not nice ? Take care geeta. Try to search online forums relating to this problem, you could perhaps be required to visit a dentist.

go to hospital and consult a teacher , we should take it seriously, Many a little makes a mickle,small problem could bring big peoblem.

hey try going to the doctor.. theres a lot of possibility... u should have it checked. remember it near the brain... if theres an infection.. itll be very dangerous for u

One of my friends experienced that before and the doctor's findings was an ear infection caused by flu that wasn't cured at once. there was already puss in the ear canal that makes it painful. i suggest that you have it seen by a doctor and don't put just anything on it because it might just worsen the problem like what happened when you put the oil.
