Global warming is a phenomenon in which global temperatures are slowly rising. For example: In places that's covered with ice before, you can see patches of ground now because the ice is slowly melting due to the rising of temperature. It's really scary! So on your part, what can you do to help solve global warming?

Avoid products that come with excess packaging, especially molded plastic and other packaging that can't be recycled..If you reduce your household garbage by 10 percent, you can save 1,200 pounds of carbon dioxide annually.....the second thing is reduce transportation...because When it comes to global warming, how and what we drive are two of our most powerful choices...Transportation is the biggest source of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions,..more than factories or homes...

I think what I can do to help is use alternative energy sources. For transportation, I'm considering hybrid cars once I get the money to buy one. Also, waste segragation is another thing I can do to help minize global warming.

if you have the means to plat a tree, that can also help to solve global warming.
it it helps to solve the global warming, if all people will not their garbage and they do not cut trees.

Driving a lot less and walking a lot more, can do wonders in helping solve the problem of Global warming. You would be surprised how successful something small like this is. A lot of people drive close distances when they could just walk. If the weather was awful, that would be one thing, but bright and sunny and quite warm days, you might as well just walk.
Again, driving short distances might not seem like that much. However, when you add up all of the short distances over time and around the world, it can really be staggering. If I can walk to a place, I will in fact walk to a place. It is just really that simple. I think it also gets me some needed exercise, as well as helping save the environment, so multitasking.

I agree with you! What's more walking can also help us save gas and it's a good form of exercise. Less driving also helps in minimizing the emission of CO2 which is one of the major cause of global warming.

There are simple things to help. On my part, i make sure of proper waste disposal and conserving energy at home. Plug appliances even not use still consumes energy. Energy usage is one of the major thing that contributes to global warming.
I walk to if the weather is great after work.

As an ordinary individual we need to participate in preventing the global warming.Basic information in proper disp[osal of garbage will help, separate biodegradable to non-biodegradale,try compospiting. As musc as possible avoid using sprays that produces cfs.Plants trees that will filter the carboon dioxisde and will give you shed from direct heat from the sun.

hi,this is all because of industrial gases, irregular usage of plastic material, petrol, diesel in vehicals vomiting pollution, removel of trees.....leads to global warming...thats why people are thinking of using biodiesel for vehicals...
http://www.newjatrophaworld.com.
so cut down the plastic usage, plant trees every where possible, control on industrial gases...
