Giving myself a treat!

So, one day I had to get up very early to do something and I stopped at a convenience store that I usually do not, and bought a cup of coffee and a donut to eat on my way. The coffee was horrible! I ended up throwing it out when I got to my destination. But the donut was a fresh-baked one (not one in a wrapper) made by a local bakery and was the most yummy donut I have ever eaten! All it was, too, was a glazed ring with vanilla frosting and sprinkles on top, but it was great!
So now, I have found myself stopping at this same place on occasion to get one of those "special" donuts. Usually on a Monday morning, since I have to be at my job very, very early. I think of it as a treat for myself, for getting up so early to go work (since the rest of the week I work afternoons and evenings). Now, no Monday morning is complete without my "special morning donut".
Do you treat yourself with anything, for certain occasions?

There was no single day when i had forgotten to have my favourite Chicken noodles of my college canteen --- they do charge few extra bucks but it is quiet delicious.Too sad that i had to refrain myself from having it on a long run as it is quiet bad for one's health.Noodles and Ice creams are two things which drag me in...really love those Baskin robbins Scoops(one scoop every weekend)...yummy and delicious.great day and keep on enjoying your Donut

Yes, exactly what I was talking about. Something that we know we shouldn't do every day for whatever reason, so we make it special! Enjoy your chicken noodles!

I treat myself by making a new recipe! I have been challenged by this cooking thing since I am still learning how to cook. I really would like to learn new recipes for my new family. So i this way, I treat myself while treating my husband and my daughter too! The more enjoyable for me. =p

That sounds nice for your family, yes! Glad you enjoy your cooking enough to be looking for new treats for all. :)

I really like Starbucks too, but there isn't one near here. Also, I'd honestly be less likely to stop since I wouldn't want to get into that habit, stopping at Starbucks, since they're considerably more expensive than the place where I am getting my special Monday Morning Donuts from. I like to get Starbucks when I'm away from home, though, to make a trip more special. :)

I save a lot too. Well, I do still save a lot, but I suppose right now I'm in a position where I can do something like this. It's not that expensive.
Be nice to yourself. Even if all it is, is a donut or a special cookie, give yourself a treat the next time you go out somewhere. Just this once. :)
