I don't know the science involved behind these so called mouthwashes but I do know that they can be expensive. I don't use them myself and instead rely on brushing alone. I visit my dentist on a regular basis and I haven't had any major problems although I've had some fillings in the past. I suppose it's everyone's personal choice if they want to use this product or not.
I'm on a limited budget and so I cannot afford luxuries like that. I see the television adverts and they claim that using a mouthwash as part of your dental routine is important but I'm not taken in by that. I may sound skeptical but when something is working at the present time why change? When I next see my dentist I will go along with her advice, that's the best thing I think. Andrew

i think mouthwash are good to be used after brushing your teeth. for me when i started using mouthwash it helped my bleeding gums stopped. i really have a very sensitive gums and well at least mouthwash helps me fight the gum bleeds i get on a daily basis

I don't think that mouthwash is very important..because as you say you daily brushed your teeth.. then i think it as sufficient.. but sometimes i like to mouthwash..what you say...

It is a case to case basis. As for me I am using it to prevent the bad odor from my mouth. Especially if I have eaten a food with garlic then I am washing it with gargle or even mouthwash.

Grace beta for me it is important
I first rub a herbal powder on the gums, keep 5 minutes, next brush with colgate tooth paste, clean tongues with tongue scrapper, next use Listerin ..
At this age i have lost only one tooth!!!
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always, cheers.
