If somebody you like will tell you this phrase "You're like a bad habit, I'm having a hard time to quit". What's the first thing that comes to your mind? How will you react?

hi! For me the phrase "You're like a bad habit, I'm having a hard time to quit." if said by your boyfriend means he cannot live without you.

But if he's not your boyfriend? Only a friend that you like and you didn't know if he felt the same way with you. But he said that phrase to you? This happened a long time ago FYI. :)

Immediate thought to your question would be like an addiction, have to have you but know it will not be good for me.
This is what I get from it.
