Movies has different rating with different viewer. If the movie is some how an action. Usually the rate is pg-13 or more. How about marvel super hero's and DC super hero's. Some of this marvel and dc character has a violent movies that sometimes it must be pass as pg-18. But since the movie is a hero character many parents let their kids watch the movie even though the rate is pg-18 simply because many children love their superhero's. Do you think its a right decision? To let your children watch pg 18 movies even though they are just 12 years old simply because that movie is about their children superhero?

I don't have any kids, but if I were I will let them choose what movies they wish to watch freely since I don't need to worry about what they watch but what they does, instead teach them to be open minded I encourage their will to be freedom and by their own will to choose whatever best they become, even God let human to choose their way

Mind of a child is like a sponge and usually they try to mimic what they saw in the movie. If you see your super hero jump from five floor of the building and landed safely on the street. Kids will think its safe too. No matter how good is your advice kids will always be kids.

yes you are right, but you shouldn't be worry that much about movies they watch because many parents most likely to be paranoid about their children behavior hence their activity over movies influence, this is just my opinion but don't blame entirely on the movies, because they has their own will it depends on the environment and educations and cares of their own parental situation, even a "save" kids can does the worst, although they might be fragile to a new knowledge and curiosity at least they knows how to watch tv so they knows what better and not to do

Yeah. You have a point. As the common phrase in college. if your virgin when you graduate in high school theirs a great possibility that you get pregnant in college. The reason is that. You pretend you know something and end up pregnant. While does who do it in high school has enough knowledge to know the preventive measures. If you know what I mean.

I usually look at the televisions shows my kids are watching before letting them alone. But I tried my very best to peek once in awhile if they are changing it. Good thing they only like kiddie programs. But it is annoying sometimes that even kiddie shows are showing activities or saying lines not suitable for kids.

hahaha..that is true. But sometimes they put warning just for parental purposes. Its means that its depends on the parents if they will let their children watch it or not. But for me kids channel must be and always be for kids.

So far my kids have only watched movies that are rated G. My oldest one just turned 8. I try to keep them watching movies that are suited for their age. I think it depends on the movie and the maturity of the kid too. Sometimes the rating on a movie might just be because of the violence. But if you have a kid that is mature enough to understand that they can't do those things then it might not be that bad to let them watch it. I think if you are going to let your child watch a movie, you should preview it first and know whether it is good for them or not.

I agree. But sometimes if you break your kids to watch movies in theater. Its not practical to watch it first before them. And sometimes its also allowed if that minor is accompanied by an adult. I think sometimes its not when they ask but when they become silent that you need to explained what they have just seen.

i am what most people would call an overprotective mother. there is not alot of things i would allow my children to do. however nowadays when movies come out i decide if they are too severe then the answer is no however i would rather have them watch the movies with me then by themselves. if they are too severe then the answer is no despite their begging to see the movie

Not even if that movie is their favorite hero punisher? lolz. I love marvel Comics. Some superhero's has extra power. But what I like most is punisher. because he is human. no power just determination for justice. Problem is that in comics is sound okay. But put it in the movies then theirs a different scenario.

Actually I really don't know what make a difference if you are watching pg 15 and 18. Lets face it that reality that human nature. We are what we are. Now being 14 and watching pg 15 and pg 18. I don't know what in the movie that you can see on pg 18 that you can't if you are below 18 years old. same with pg 15. What is on pg 15 that you can't watch if you are less than 15 years old. Weird right?
