that would be fine kushal03 as long as you don't get weak during games or practices.
balancing your diet still depends on the activities that you do. 3 to 4 meals a day is not good if you don't have any activities. such activities which burns your food intake.
Some people who want to maintain their weight do the King-princess-pauper diet. Meaning you will eat big meals in the morning, good enough servings for lunch and a small amount of meal during dinner.

Since I need to keep my blood sugar steady, I usually eat breakfast, a small snack in between, lunch, a small snack in between and then dinner. Eating every few hours helps to keep my blood sugar steady. I also get really hungry if I don't eat at least 3 times a day. My body is used to eating at certain times of day and fully expects to.

I've read somewhere that your food intake should depend on your body - your metabolism, your built - height, weight, etc., and your activities. Of course, if you are active, your body consumes more calories, so you need more calorie intake through your food (unless of course you're trying to lose weight which is the main purpose you're being active).
